UV DTF Transfers for Cups
Peel-and-stick, UV-cured wraps for glass, acrylic, and plastic cold cups. No heat, press, or machine, just peel, position, and burnish.
Which cups work best with UV DTF
We print the wrap, you apply it to your own cups. Here is what sticks best, with the real supplier suitability ratings.

Glass can cups
- Smooth glass, can-shaped, 16 oz
- Straight walls, easy to wrap
- Crystal-clear, colors pop
Best for: the cleanest, most reliable cup surface

Plastic cold cups
- Clear acrylic or plastic, 12 to 24 oz
- Often slightly tapered
- Wrap cut to the cup's taper
Best for: iced-drink and party cold cups
Any clean, hard, non-porous cup works. Taller or tapered cups get a wrap cut to their exact height and curve.
Custom cup ideas: three wraps we would run
Not specs, opinions. What we would wrap if the drinkware were ours.

The cafe glass
A full-color wrap on a clear glass can turns a plain cup into signature glassware. Photos and gradients print exactly as designed.

The party cold cup
Wrap cold cups for events and the branding travels with every drink. Waterproof, so condensation never lifts it.

The matching set
Two cups, one design, instant gift or favor. Matching decals look custom-made because they are.
Why UV DTF for custom cups?
Decorating glass and cold cups? Here is how UV DTF compares to the other two routes.
| UV DTF | Vinyl decals | Sublimation | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Application | Peel and stick, no machine | Cut, weed, and transfer tape | Heat press and special blanks required |
| Full color | Photos and gradients in one wrap | Solid colors, layered by hand | Full color, but only on coated blanks |
| Works on | Steel, glass, and acrylic | Most smooth surfaces | Only sublimation-coated blanks |
| Durability | Waterproof and scratch-resistant | Edges can peel with washing | Very durable on coated blanks |
| Dishwasher | Top-rack durable once set | Hand wash only is safest | Fine on quality coated blanks |
| Cost to start | No equipment, from $10.20 | Cutter, vinyl, and weeding time | Press, printer, and blank inventory |
Fair is fair: sublimation is great if you already own the equipment and buy coated blanks. UV DTF gives the same full-color look on the cups you already have, with nothing to buy but the wrap.

What are UV DTF transfers for cups?
Glass, can-shaped, and cold cups get decorated with a peel-and-stick UV-cured film transfer that wraps around the cup without heat, a press, or any machine.
Unlike heat-applied textile transfers, UV-DTF is made for hard, non-porous surfaces, so it bonds directly to glass, acrylic, and plastic cups and stays put through everyday use. You design the artwork, we print and cure it onto film, and you simply peel, position, and burnish it onto the cup. Sizing matters here: cups are taller and often slightly tapered compared to straight-wall tumblers, so we set up your wrap to follow the cup's height and curve.
Wrapping a different shape? See UV DTF for tumblers for stainless drinkware, or UV DTF for mugs for ceramic with a handle. We print the wrap; you apply it in minutes with no machine.

What is the difference between UV-DTF for cups and for tumblers?
Cup wraps are sized for taller, often tapered glass and cold cups, while tumbler wraps are sized for shorter, straight-wall stainless drinkware. The film and application are the same peel-and-stick process, but we cut the wrap to match each cup's height and curve so it lines up without gaps or overlap.
Can UV-DTF cup wraps go in the dishwasher?
Once the film is fully set, these cup wraps are top-rack dishwasher durable. Hand washing still extends the life of any wrap, and we recommend keeping wraps off the high-heat bottom rack near the heating element.
How do you apply a UV-DTF cup wrap?
Peel the printed film off its backing, position it on the clean dry cup, smooth it down from one edge, then remove the top transfer layer. No heat press, heat gun, or machine is needed, just steady pressure with your fingers or a small squeegee.
Can I get custom UV-DTF cups in Miami with fast turnaround?
Yes, we print custom UV-DTF cup wraps at our Kendall and Doral locations with same-day printing on orders placed before 12 PM ET. Standard turnaround is 24 business hours, 24-hour rush is available, and both Miami locations offer 24/7 pickup.
Will a UV-DTF cup wrap work on fabric or a t-shirt?
No, this material is for hard non-porous surfaces only and will crack if applied to fabric. For shirts, totes, and other apparel, use textile DTF transfers, which press on with heat and stay soft and stretchable.
