Neon DTF Transfers Miami — Fluorescent Color, Ready in 24 Hours

Fluorescent DTF transfers are heat transfers printed with real fluorescent inks that produce vivid, intense colors standard 4-color DTF cannot reproduce. They use an 8-ink system — CMYK plus fluorescent yellow (Fy), fluorescent magenta (Fm), orange (O), and green (G) — and transfer to fabric using a heat press. Because DTF includes a white underbase, the colors are just as vivid on black fabric as on white. DTF Transfers Miami has been running this 8-ink fluorescent configuration for two years, making it one of the few shops in Florida offering this as a regular production service.

Regular DTF uses four inks — cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK). Neon or fluorescent DTF adds four more: fluorescent yellow, fluorescent magenta, orange, and green. These dedicated fluorescent inks produce colors that CMYK simply cannot replicate. Many shops advertise “neon DTF” but are still running standard CMYK and approximating the colors — the result is noticeably different from true fluorescent inks.

No — and that is by design. Fluorescent inks produce colors that go beyond what a monitor can display. Your prints will be bright and bold. Send your file in RGB color mode — PNG preferred at 300 DPI with a transparent background. We also accept PDF, AI, and PSD. If you send a CMYK file, we will convert it, but fluorescent colors may shift during conversion. RGB gives our RIP system the best input to maximize fluorescent output.

We use an 8-ink system on Epson i3200 printheads: standard CMYK plus fluorescent yellow (Fy), fluorescent magenta (Fm), orange (O), and green (G). All printers are calibrated with ICC color profiles and run through Neo Stampa RIP software for consistent output across every order.

Warm peel with a required second press. After pressing at 300°F for 10–12 seconds with medium-firm pressure, wait 3–5 seconds, then peel the film slowly at a low angle. Immediately follow with a second press of 10 seconds with parchment or Teflon. This second press is critical — do not skip it.

Step 1 — Pre-press the garment 3–5 seconds to remove
moisture and wrinkles. Step 2 — Set your heat press to 300°F (149°C)
with medium-firm pressure. Step 3 — Position the transfer face-down on
the garment. Step 4 — Press for 10–12 seconds. Step 5 — Wait 3–5
seconds, then peel the film slowly at a low angle. Step 6 — Cover the
design with parchment paper or Teflon and press for 10 seconds to seal.
Do not skip the second press — it bonds the transfer to the garment and
is critical for durability.

Neon DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, blends, tri blends, denim, and canvas — including black and dark fabrics. DTF uses a white underbase built into the transfer, so the fluorescent colors stay just as vivid on a black shirt as they do on a white one. That is one of the core advantages over screen printing.
