Will UV-DTF wrap around a tapered tumbler without wrinkling?
It will, because the film flexes as you smooth it down, so it conforms to the angled and curved sides of a tapered tumbler. Work from the center outward and ease the film toward the rim and base to avoid trapped air.
Are UV-DTF tumbler transfers dishwasher safe?
Once the film has fully set on the surface, these transfers are top-rack dishwasher durable. For the longest life, let the wrap cure undisturbed before its first wash and keep it on the top rack away from the heating element.
What is the difference between UV-DTF for tumblers and for cups?
The film is the same UV-DTF material, but tumblers usually have tapered sides and larger curved surfaces than straight cups, so the wrap is sized and smoothed differently. Both apply with peel-and-stick and no heat, but a tumbler often takes a taller, wrap-around design.
Can I put UV-DTF tumbler transfers on a fabric koozie or shirt?
No, this material is for hard, non-porous surfaces only and will crack if applied to fabric. For shirts, koozies, or any apparel you need textile DTF transfers, which use heat and a white underbase instead.
