What Are DTF Gang Sheets?

A DTF gang sheet is a single roll of heat transfer film where you pack multiple designs side by side on a 24"-wide artboard and print the whole thing as one job. Rather than ordering each graphic as a separate transfer and paying the overhead that comes with it, you consolidate everything onto one sheet and split the cost across every design on it. The more you fill the sheet, the lower your effective cost per transfer.

We've produced a lot of gang sheets through our Miami production workflow at both our Kendall and Doral locations. The single most common issue we see — in roughly 7 out of 10 first-time uploads — is artwork placed too close to the edges or to adjacent designs, which makes clean cutting difficult without touching the print. That's why we require at least ¼" between every design and ¼" from the artboard edges. Get those two things right and the rest of the process is straightforward.

Gang sheets are hot peel and ship ready to press. No weeding, no transfer tape, no color layering. Cut the designs apart, put them on the garment, press at 300°F for 10–12 seconds, wait a couple of seconds, peel warm. That's the whole process — whether you're doing two shirts or two hundred.
