Our Print Guarantee

If we make a printing or production error on our end, we'll reprint your order at no charge. Upload your artwork, check out, and let us handle the rest. If something doesn't look right when it arrives, reach out and we'll make it right.

This guarantee covers printing and production mistakes — not issues caused by file quality, press settings, or application errors on your end. We review every file before printing, so if we catch a problem, we'll contact you before we run it.

How to Apply — Hot Peel

  • Pre-press your garment: Set your heat press to 300°F. Pre-press for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  • Position the transfer: Place the transfer printed side down on the fabric. Align carefully before pressing.
  • Press: Apply medium-firm pressure for 10–12 seconds at 300°F (149°C).
  • Peel hot: Lift the press and peel the film immediately — 1–2 seconds after pressing. The peel should be smooth and clean.
  • Second press — required: Place parchment paper or a Teflon sheet over the design and press again at 300°F for 10 seconds. This seals the transfer, locks in durability, and gives a clean matte finish.

Tip: Always do a test press on a scrap piece of fabric before pressing your full order.

Artwork Guidelines

  • Preferred format: PNG with transparent background, 300 DPI, RGB color mode
  • Also accepted: PDF, PSD, AI
  • Artboard width: Set to 24" for full-width designs
  • Spacing: ¼" between designs when sending a gang layout
  • Color mode: RGB — not CMYK. CMYK files will shift when converted.
  • Minimum stroke: 1pt for positive lines on cotton/jersey · 1.5pt for reversed or knockout text · below these thresholds, fine lines may not transfer or will lift after washing
  • Minimum text size: 6pt for positive text · 9–10pt for reversed/knockout text
  • Avoid — not compatible with DTF: Soft drop shadows · gradients that fade to transparent · feathering effects · glows. These have transparent areas where the white underbase shows through. Solid-to-solid gradients are fine.

Need a color reference before placing a large order? Check out our DTF Color Chart ($10) — pressed on your own fabric so you see exactly how colors land.

💡 Canva tip: Fitting multiple designs on one sheet? In Canva, create a single artboard at 24" wide × your chosen length, place each design with at least ¼" spacing between them, and export the whole thing as one PNG at 300 DPI with a transparent background. That's your gang layout — ready to upload.

🔴 Note: Printed and ready to ship within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.

What Is Hot Peel DTF?

Hot peel DTF (direct-to-film) transfers are custom-printed graphics you press onto fabric with a heat press. The transfer comes on a 24"-wide film — you position it, press it, and peel the film off in 1–2 seconds while it's still hot. That's it.

No weeding. No layering. No screen setup. Full color in one press — including solid-to-solid gradients, bold blocks of color, and fine detail down to 1pt strokes. One thing to keep in mind: designs with soft drop shadows or gradients that fade to transparent don't translate well to DTF — the white underbase shows through the transparent area. Hard edges and defined lines always come out cleanest.

The "hot peel" part means you don't wait for the transfer to cool before peeling — you peel right away. That makes hot peel DTF faster than cold peel options and ideal for shops that press multiple garments in a row.

At DTF Transfers Miami, we print on Epson i3200 printheads with ICC color profiles and Neo Stampa RIP software. Every file is reviewed before it runs. Orders are ready within 24 hours, and you can pick them up any time with our 24/7 box.

Vivian M.

I honestly wasn't super sold into the dtf transfers but after the initial pain of making my gang sheet and getting the hang of it, i did get them quick and it was much easier than weeding vinyl so I'll be back for sure.

Monica R.

I needed a company to take the time and help me figure out how to order and they did just that.

LOVE IT thank you!!!

Get To Know Our Hot Peel Transfers

Our Hot Peel Film Transfers Miami are made for performance, consistency, and convenience. Here’s what makes them a favorite among local apparel shops and creative brands.

  • Instant Hot Peel — Peel in 1–2 Seconds

Press the garment, lift the platen, and peel the film right away. You don't wait for it to cool — that's what makes hot peel the go-to choice for shops running high-volume production. Less time between presses means more garments finished per hour.

  • 24" Wide Film — More Design Per Sheet

At 24" wide, you can fit full-front graphics, oversized designs, or multiple smaller prints on a single sheet. Gang your artwork and get more out of every order. Film is shipped rolled, not folded, so it arrives flat and press-ready.

  • Color That Holds

Printed on Epson i3200 printheads with ICC color profiles and Neo Stampa RIP, these transfers come out sharp and consistent. Solid-to-solid gradients, bold color blocks, and fine lines down to 1pt all reproduce cleanly. Hard edges and defined artwork always give the best result — designs with soft drop shadows or gradients that fade to transparent are not compatible with DTF and should be reworked before uploading.

  • Works on Most Apparel

Hot peel DTF bonds well to cotton, polyester, tri-blends, denim, canvas, and dark garments. If you're not sure a specific fabric will work, order a 24"×12" test sheet first and press it before running a full batch.

  • Gang Sheet Pricing — No Volume Lock-In

Pricing scales with sheet length — the longer the sheet, the lower the cost per linear foot. Order what you need, when you need it. No minimums, no setup fees, no per-design charges.

How To Apply Hot Peel Film Transfers

Applying Hot Peel Film Transfers is easy and efficient. Follow these steps for the best press results:

Step 1 — Pre-press.

Set your press to 300°F (149°C). Pre-press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. This helps the transfer bond evenly.

Step 2 — Position.

Place the transfer printed side down on the fabric. Align it before you close the press — once you press, the adhesive activates and repositioning isn't easy.

Step 3 — Press.

Apply medium-firm pressure for 10–12 seconds at 300°F. Keep even pressure across the whole transfer.

Step 4 — Peel hot.

Open the press and peel the film immediately — 1–2 seconds after pressing. Peel steadily and smoothly. Don't wait for it to cool.

Step 5 — Second press — required.

Place parchment paper or a Teflon sheet over the print and press again at 300°F for 10 seconds. This seals the transfer, locks in durability, and gives a clean matte finish. Don't skip this step.

Frequently Asked Questions — Hot Peel DTF Transfers

What is a hot peel DTF transfer?

A hot peel DTF (direct-to-film) transfer is a custom-printed graphic on film that you press onto fabric with a heat press. "Hot peel" means you peel the film immediately after pressing — 1–2 seconds — while it's still hot. You get a fully printed, full-color design on your garment in one press.

What heat press settings should I use?

Press at 300°F (149°C) with medium-firm pressure for 10–12 seconds. Peel the film immediately after pressing (1–2 seconds). Then do a required second press — cover with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet and press again at 300°F for 10 seconds to seal the transfer.

How wide is the film?

All hot peel DTF transfers are printed on 24"-wide film. You can fit full-front designs, large back graphics, or multiple smaller prints on one sheet by ganging your artwork.

How is hot peel different from cold peel DTF?

With hot peel, you peel the film immediately after pressing — 1–2 seconds. With cold peel, you wait until the transfer cools completely before peeling. Hot peel is faster and better for high-volume production. Cold peel (like our Glitter DTF) is used for specialty finishes that need more adhesion time.

Can I get same-day service on hot peel DTF?

Same-day printing is only available on our Same-Day DTF Transfers product (order by 12PM EST, Monday–Friday). Hot Peel DTF Transfers have a standard 24-hour production turnaround.

What fabrics work with hot peel DTF?

Hot peel DTF bonds well to cotton, polyester, blends, tri-blends, denim, canvas, and dark garments. If you're pressing onto an unusual fabric or a very stretchy material, test with a small sheet first.

What file format should I upload?

PNG with a transparent background, 300 DPI, RGB color mode is preferred. We also accept PDF, PSD, and AI files. Set your artboard to 24" wide. If you're sending multiple designs, leave at least ¼" spacing between them.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimums, no setup fees, no per-design charges. Order a single 24"×12" sheet or a 24"×300" roll — whatever you need.

How do I pick up my order?

Use our 24/7 pickup boxes at our Kendall and Doral locations. They’re available any hour, any day — including nights and weekends.

Kendall: 13268 SW 120th St, Miami, FL 33186
Doral: 3301 NW 82nd Ave, Doral, FL 33122

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes — we ship to all 50 states via UPS. Shipping is free on orders over $75. We're not responsible for delays caused by UPS in transit.

What's the difference between hot peel DTF and UV DTF?

Hot peel DTF requires a heat press and bonds permanently to fabric through heat. UV DTF transfers are peel-and-stick — no heat required — and work on hard surfaces like tumblers, phone cases, and wood. They're two completely different processes.

How should I store unused transfers?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep them flat or rolled — not folded. Properly stored transfers stay press-ready for months.

Are DTF transfers hot or cold peel?

It depends on the product. At DTF Transfers Miami, our Hot Peel DTF Transfers and Same-Day DTF Transfers are both hot peel — you peel the film 1–2 seconds after pressing, while it's still hot. Our Glitter DTF uses cold peel — you wait until the transfer cools completely. Our Neon DTF uses warm peel — a 3–5 second wait before peeling slowly. Each product page has the correct instructions.

Do you peel DTF transfers hot or cold?

For hot peel DTF — you peel hot. Open the press and peel the film within 1–2 seconds, while it's still warm. For cold peel DTF — you wait until the transfer cools down, usually 30–60 seconds, before peeling. Hot peel is faster and works well for high-volume runs. Cold peel gives certain specialty finishes more time to bond. Our standard Hot Peel DTF Transfers on this page are hot peel.

Where can I buy hot peel DTF transfers near me in Miami?

You can order directly from our shop and pick up any time using our 24/7 pickup box at 13268 SW 120th St, Kendall, Miami, FL 33186. No need to wait for shipping if you're in the area — orders are ready within 24 hours. A second location at 3301 NW 82nd Ave, Doral FL 33122 opens end of April 2026. We also ship to all 50 states via UPS if you're outside South Florida.

How do I peel transfer paper off a DTF transfer?

After pressing at 300°F for 10–12 seconds, open the press and give it 1–2 seconds. Then start from one corner and peel the film back steadily at a low angle — don't yank it straight up. If the design is pulling away from the fabric with the film, your temperature may be too low or your press time too short. Always do a test press on a scrap piece of the same fabric before running your full order.

Ready to press? Order yours today.

Pick your size, upload your file, and we'll have it printed in 24 hours. Local pickup anytime — or ships nationwide via UPS.
