Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we answer every day, in one place: files, products, pressing, shipping, pickup, and order issues.

Ordering & files

Files and artwork

What file type should I upload?

A transparent PNG in RGB at 300 DPI, exported at the final print size. We also accept PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, and PSD when prepared correctly. JPG files always have a solid background, and backgrounds print.

Do you check my file before printing?

Yes. Every file gets a review for resolution, transparency, sizing, and spacing before production. It is an added quality check, not full proofing: you are still responsible for spelling, layout, and final artwork.

How much space do I leave between designs on a gang sheet?

About 0.25 inches between designs, with some space near the edges. Tight spacing makes trimming harder and causes handling mistakes.

Do you color match Pantone or brand colors?

No. Screen color is a preview, not a guarantee, and we do not guarantee exact matching between separate runs. If color is critical, order a $10 DTF Color Chart and press it on your own fabric first.

Should I mirror my artwork?

No. DTF transfers are printed ready to press. Only mirror your file if you intentionally want a mirrored result.

Products

Choosing your transfer

Which DTF transfer should I order?

Hot peel for speed on bulk pressing, cold peel at $3.50 per foot for budget runs, ORGB for brand-critical reds, oranges, greens, and blues, Neon for fluorescent color, and Glitter for textured sparkle. Gang sheets pack many designs onto one sheet.

What is a DTF gang sheet?

One large sheet filled with as many designs as fit, printed in full color with a white underbase. You cut each transfer out and press it when you need it, paying for the sheet instead of per design.

What surfaces does UV DTF work on?

Smooth, hard, non-porous surfaces: glass, stainless steel, ceramic, acrylic, metal, and sealed wood. It applies peel-and-stick with no heat press, and it is not for fabric: the film cracks on anything that flexes.

How long do DTF prints last?

50 to 100+ washes when pressed correctly. Wash cold and inside out, skip fabric softener, and tumble dry low.

Are the prints safe to wear?

Yes. The film, inks, and powder we use are OEKO-TEX certified for textiles, so every print is skin-safe.

Pressing & care

Pressing and washing

What are the press settings?

Cotton and blends press at 300°F for 10 to 12 seconds with medium-firm pressure. Polyester presses at 285°F to stop dye migration. Printed instructions come with every order.

When do I peel the film?

It depends on the product: hot peel comes off 1 to 2 seconds after pressing, neon uses a warm peel after 3 to 5 seconds, and cold peel products (cheap DTF, ORGB, glitter) must cool completely first.

How do I wash a pressed garment?

Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Then wash cold and inside out, skip fabric softener, and tumble dry low.

What if my transfer does not stick?

Application results depend on your press, garment, temperature, time, pressure, and peel timing, so they are not covered by the reprint policy. Contact us before pressing a big run and we will help you dial in settings.

Shipping, pickup & same-day

Getting your order

How fast is production?

Most orders are processed within 24 business hours Monday to Friday once the artwork is ready to print. Larger or more complex orders can take longer.

How does same-day printing work?

Select Same-Day Printing and order by 12 PM ET Monday to Friday with print-ready artwork. It is a production service, not a shipping method, and it must be selected and available at checkout.

How does 24/7 pickup work?

Wait for the pickup confirmation, then collect your order from the self-pickup boxes in Kendall (13268 SW 120th St) or Doral (3301 NW 82nd Ave) at any hour. Orders are held for 14 days.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes, via UPS across the United States, free on orders over $75. Shipping upgrades speed up carrier transit only, they do not speed up production.

Order issues

If something goes wrong

Can I return my order?

Custom printed items are final sale, so general returns are not accepted. Verified production errors on our side get made right: reprint, replacement, or refund where appropriate.

How long do I have to report a problem?

7 days from delivery for a wrong item, missing item, verified production defect, or shipping damage. For shipping damage, keep the packaging and photograph everything.

What should I send with a claim?

Your order number, the issue type, clear photos of the problem, and packaging photos if the claim is for shipping damage. We reply with the next step.
