What Is a DTF Color Chart?

A DTF color chart is a printed reference that shows you exactly how colors come out on DTF film before you place a full order. Screens can be misleading. What looks like a deep navy on your monitor can print differently depending on the printer, the inks, and the color profile being used.

Our DTF Color Chart ships as a gang sheet — a ready-to-press DTF transfer with multiple color swatches printed directly on DTF film. You press it onto your own fabric with your own heat press. That way, what you're seeing is the actual output from our ICC-profiled printers on your specific material, not a guess based on a screen or someone else’s fabric.

It’s a $10 reference tool that can help you avoid costly color mismatches on a gang sheet order, a team uniform run, or a brand collection.

What's Included — DTF Color Chart $10

  • Physical DTF Gang Sheet

A ready-to-press DTF transfer printed with multiple color swatches — enough to make confident color decisions before placing your full order. It is printed on the same ICC-profiled Epson i3200 printers we use for all production orders, using Neo Stampa RIP. Press at 300°F for 10–12 seconds with medium-firm pressure. Hot peel, just like our standard DTF transfers.

Note: The chart includes a curated range of colors. It is not meant to show every color the printer can reproduce, but it does provide a representative selection across the spectrum that is sufficient for most color matching and design decisions.

  • Digital Version by Email

After purchase, we send you the digital color chart by email. You can use it in your design software to sample RGB values, build color palettes, or share with clients before production. It works with Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and any program that supports color picking.

Available for pickup at our 24/7 box in Kendall (13268 SW 120th St, Miami, FL 33186) or shipped nationwide via UPS, with free shipping on orders over $75.

Why Color Accuracy Matters in DTF Printing

Your monitor displays colors in RGB — a light-based color system built for screens. DTF printers use physical inks on film. Those two systems do not translate the same way by default. That is why a design can look perfect on screen but print slightly differently in real life. It does not always mean something went wrong. It usually means screen color and printed ink behave differently.

At DTF Transfers Miami, every printer runs with custom ICC color profiles through Neo Stampa RIP. An ICC profile is the color map that tells the RIP how to translate the RGB colors in your file into ink on film as accurately as possible. It is the same type of color-management process used by professional print shops, and it helps keep color output more consistent from the first sheet to the last.

Our color chart lets you see that calibration applied to real DTF film, on real fabric, under real pressing conditions before you place a larger order into production. That means fewer surprises and more confidence in the final result.

When the Color Chart Is Most Useful

The DTF color chart is especially useful for brand collections where color consistency matters across multiple garments, team uniforms where a navy blue or red needs to stay consistent across the full run, client presentations where you want to show the actual printed result before approval, and new designs printed on unfamiliar fabrics where you want to confirm the color before moving forward with a larger order.

Si quieres, te lo puedo dejar también en una versión un poco más comercial para producto, porque ahorita quedó balanceado entre técnico y fácil de entender.

FAQs: DTF Color Chart Miami

What is the DTF color chart from DTF Transfers Miami?

It’s a DTF gang sheet printed with multiple color swatches that you press onto your own fabric using your own heat press, so you can see how each color looks on your specific material. It also includes a digital version sent by email after purchase for use in design software. Price: $10.

Does the chart come already pressed on fabric?

No. We send you the gang sheet as a ready-to-press DTF transfer. You press it yourself on the fabric you plan to use for your order. That way, you see the result on your exact material — cotton, polyester, blends, tri-blends, denim, and more — under your real production conditions.

Does it include every color the printer can make?

No. It covers a curated range of colors across the spectrum, not every possible shade. It includes enough swatches to help you make confident color decisions and match the most common design colors before placing a full order.

When do I receive the digital version?

The digital color chart is sent to your email after purchase. You can use it in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or any design software to sample RGB values and help match colors in your artwork before uploading your file.

How do I press the color chart gang sheet?

Just like any standard DTF transfer: 300°F, 10–12 seconds, medium-firm pressure, hot peel. For the most accurate reference, press it onto the same fabric type you plan to use for your full order.

Why are the colors calibrated to your specific printers?

Every printer at DTF Transfers Miami runs custom ICC color profiles through Neo Stampa RIP. That means the color chart reflects the actual output of our equipment, not a generic CMYK reference. Colors are calibrated to our ink, our film, and our settings, so the chart gives you a much more useful reference for what your order will look like.

Can I pick up the color chart in Miami?

Yes. Order before 12 PM EST and your chart is ready the same day at our 24/7 self-service pickup box at 13268 SW 120th St, Kendall, FL 33186. We also ship nationwide via UPS, with free shipping on orders over $75. Our Doral location is scheduled to open in April 2026 with the same 24/7 pickup model.

Which products is the color chart useful for?

It’s useful for any DTF product on the site, including Same-Day DTF Transfers, Gang Sheets, Hot Peel, Cold Peel, and ORGB 9-color orders. It is especially helpful when color consistency matters across a run, such as brand collections, team uniforms, event merchandise, or any order where a color mismatch could be costly.
