Standard DTF mixes every color from CMYK. ORGB adds four dedicated inks for the colors CMYK mixes worst.
For brand artwork, the extra inks expand the range of reds, oranges, greens, and blues that can be printed. If a tone is critical, test a color chart on your own fabric before a full run.
The classic sports colors are exactly the ones 4-ink printing struggles with. ORGB prints them straight from the ink.
Illustrations with deep greens and electric blues keep their punch instead of flattening in conversion.

ORGB ideas: three jobs where color is the job
Not specs, opinions. What we would print with this product if the order were ours.
For a logo that uses strong reds, oranges, greens, or blues, ORGB offers an expanded color range. Press a color chart on the intended fabric before committing to a full run.
Painters and illustrators can use ORGB for artwork with saturated colors. Screen and print color can differ, so test the color chart on your chosen fabric when a particular tone matters.

Get every drop of gamut
ORGB costs more per foot than standard DTF, so use it where it pays. Six rules:
A file already flattened to CMYK has thrown the extra colors away. Export RGB at 300 DPI and let the RIP do the mapping.
If your design is black text on white, standard DTF is identical. ORGB earns its price on reds, oranges, greens, and blues.
The $10 ORGB chart pressed on your own blank shows exactly what each color does on your fabric.
Print the color-critical front in ORGB and the plain back neck label on standard film. Nobody prints money on labels.
The white underbase keeps 9-ink color vivid on black and navy, where cheap prints go muddy.
