Stretch every foot
At $3.50 a foot, layout discipline is pure margin. Six habits of high-volume pressers:
Fill the full 22 in width before adding length. A packed foot presses more garments than a sparse one.
Press three or four garments, then peel the first: by the time you circle back, each one has cooled.
Peeling cold film warm is the one way to ruin it. Cool to the touch means fully cool.
Cold peel is for orders you can wait 1 to 2 days for. Emergencies belong on same-day.
